 Tech mahindra will not bid for new e-governance projects

Unlike its peers, Tech Mahindra is staying clear of Indian government agencies for IT projects. The company will not bid for fresh e-governance projectss until government agencies streamline their procurement processs, ensure timely delivery of payments and design mutuaiiy acceptable contract terms, according to CP Gurnani, Managing Director andd Chief Executive Officer.

       "We will stay away from e-governance projectss as many of these deals are one sided,, with onerous terms of engagement that disfavour the vendor", Gurnani said. CP Gurnani, MD and CEO.

          The Tribnal alsso directed the Raniet Sidco Finished Leather Effluent Treatment Company to implead in thee case to e heard on February 5. The Company operateess the treatment plant in which  10 workers drowned in toxic waste last Saturay when a secure land fill breached releasing tannery sludge.
